travel cruising the world crown princess eastern caribbean

Lynn and I took this cruise with my son, Ryan's family; he, his wife, Stephanie, and our grandson, Mason.
Although we had been on an Eastern Caribbean cruise back in 1993 on the Carnival Tropicale, this trip took us to several new locations.
We have found that many of the normal stops in the Caribbean are dominated by big tourist-oriented resorts and that it is often hard to really see the local culture.
We usually try to either rent a car or take a tour that will take us away from the tourist spots and through some of the areas where "real" people live.
We were able to do this a couple times with a rental car in Antigua and a great photo-oriented tour in Barbados.
The Crown Princess itself was well-maintained and lived up to our expectations of cruising with Princess.
As usual, the evening meals were a real highlight.
